Well-Known by the world, the ShihLIn Night Market, its major architecture is the centralization market located across from the metro JianTan Station, but it’s widely spread over an area that includes, from the YangMing Theather extending to WunLin Road, JiHe Road, DaDong Road and DaNan Road. Once the sun sets, it becomes a very busy place, with many, many shoppers. There are more than 500 booths and shops in the night market, those include small bread wraps in the large bread, squid thick soup, frogs eggs (pearl sago) etc, those are the MUST-TRY snacks for visitors.

DaAn Wood Park

DaAn Wood Park becomes a new spot for stop-off and leisure activities since 1994; the form of the park is mainly the forest plants, which has the nickname “green lung” of Taipei City. The development of the park was originally established by tearing down the old military residence villages, now it has three park roads passing through the whole park in length and breadth, also the outdoor musical stage which often hosts performance activities. With plentiful botany in the park, thus allowing it to be quite suited for families to come together.
